FAQ
Question: Do I need to create an account or sign in to use the app?
Answer: Nope! Exploration Station is designed to be simple and kid-friendly, so there’s no sign-in, no accounts, and no passwords to remember. Kids (and grown-ups) can open the app and start exploring experiments right away.
Question: What data does the app collect?
Answer: We do not collect or store any personal information about you or your child. Any progress, notes, badges, or points are saved locally on your device only. If you delete the app, that locally stored information is deleted with it.
Question: How much does the app cost?
Answer: The app cost depends on your location but is $4.99CDN. This cost supports the Exploration Station in all that we do, furthering our adventure to educate and inspire young Explorers!
Question: Is there a way to support you beyond buying the app?
Answer: Yes! If you’d like to support us further, you can join our community on Patreon. Patreon helps us fund new experiments, videos, and resources for teachers and parents. Supporting there is completely optional, but always appreciated.
Question: What age group is the app for?
Answer: Exploration Station is designed for curious kids roughly ages 3–13, but lots of younger siblings and science-loving adults enjoy it too. We focus on clear instructions, simple materials, and concepts that spark curiosity.
Question: Are the experiments safe to do at home or in the classroom?
Answer: Each experiment includes a materials list and safety notes. Most activities use everyday materials, but we still recommend adult supervision—especially when using scissors, heat, or anything that could spill, stain, or make a mess.
