The Da Vinci Bridge!

This simple bridge design combines compression and tension to create a

self-supporting structure by weaving popsicle sticks together in a repeating pattern!

It was designed over 500 years ago by the Renaissance genius, Leonardo da Vinci.

Materials

  • At least 12 popsicle sticks
    * You can also experiment with other building materials!

This experiment is great for Beginner Explorers and can be completed using household supplies.
